Welcome to the second edition of @Brookstone. Look for this e-mail bi-monthly, to include all of the news from Brookstone.

Halloween Carnival 10/27 2:00 - 4:30
The Sophomore class is gearing up for the annual Halloween Carnival. Tickets and wristbands will be available for purchase at the Carnival. 

Special Dismissal times for Lower School

Pre-Kindergarten 12:00 Noon
Kindergarten - 2nd grades 2:00 p.m. (if picked up in the classroom)
3rd - 4th grades 2:30 p.m. (if picked up in the classroom)
Students in Kindergarten - 4th grade not picked up in the classroom will be dismissed at the regular time.

Everyone come and enjoy the food and activities.

Brookstone's Barnes & Noble Book Fair - October 31st, November 1st and 2nd.  Once again we will feature an abundance of great character building books for your child. Come find an interesting biography, a favorite classic or the latest adventure story.  The Book Fair will be located in the Lower School Library.

Literature Live - October 31st, November 1st and 2nd  Poetry theme.
Guest poet Coleman Barks will be on campus and will speak at the Middle and Upper School assemblies.  Dr. Barks will speak in a special program for adults and Upper School students on November 1st at 7:00 p.m. in the Turner Center.

Upper School Coffee House- to cap off the Literature Live program.  On November 2nd Dr. David Johnson and several upper school students will read their own poetry and some works from their favorite poets.  The event will be held at 8 a.m. in the Kirven Library.  Those interested in poetry are invited to attend.

NetClassroom User Ids - If you would like to have your NetClassroom User Id be the same as your ParentNet Id please email An email confirmation will be sent once the update is completed.  

Cougar Cubs - Grades 3rd - 6th, this is your opportunity to play Brookstone basketball. Sign-up deadline November 5th. Click here for Cougar Cub Sign up Forms 

Service Project - In conjunction with the Brookstone/Pacelli football game, everyone is asked to bring canned goods for Valley Rescue.  A food shortage has placed Valley Rescue in a crisis situation.  All families are encouraged to bring as many canned goods as possible and place them in the designated receptacles at the field.
