Lexile Reading Levels

Lexile levels are being used more and more in reading level evaluation as a result of Brookstone's new testing approach. However, Lexile levels are a different system from the AR (Accelerated Reader) reading levels which we continue to use. These two different systems can cause some confusion. The Lexile system has a book find utility located here: Lexile Find a Book (however our libraries may not have every book located through this service). Another useful utility is a conversion chart that allows the approximate conversion between Lexile level and AR (ATOS) level: AR-to-Lexile Conversion Chart .
