Brookstone School

BPA Letter From The President

Dear Brookstone Parents,

Another school year has begun, the campus looks beautiful, and it's time to get busy! The teachers are energized and ready to instruct. The students are excited to be back, seeing old friends and meeting new ones. And the Brookstone Parents Association is ready to welcome all of you to a new and exciting year!

The BPA has been hard at work since last spring preparing for the 2012-2013 school year. It has always been our mission to promote unity among parents, students, faculty and staff, and to encourage parental involvement in school life at Brookstone. And this year will be no different. We have many ways you can become involved here on campus, whether it's on a regular basis:

  • Serve ice cream to Lower School and Intermediate School students once a month
  • Provide snacks in the teachers' lounge when needed
  • Help Mrs. Wood in the Lower School library once a month

Or helping with one of our fundraisers:

  • Serve as a committee chair for Bidding for Brookstone
  • Help with the Potting Shed, Midway, or other areas at Country Fair
  • Register participants at the Cougar Cup golf tournament

And those are just a few examples!

We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful group of parents who are so eager to participate and support our school. And we, as parents, are very fortunate to have a school like Brookstone, where the education of our children is the top priority. Please consider where you can give your time and talent!

Thank you!

Margaret McCormick
